Killer Queen - Of What, Exactly
An all-time holiday favorite of mine - and doubtless many others - is the Rankin/Bass Stop-Motion classic 'Santa Claus Is Comin To Town', with Kris Kringle voiced by Mickey Rooney. I know so many of the scenes and songs by heart - maybe even a little too well for my own peace of mind.
Like other R/B Holiday happenings, it has songs with dueling versions, different based upon who's singing and why. 'It's A Difficult Responsibility' is sung first by Mama Kringle, indicating the past joy & glory her family knew as toymakers to young Kris; the second time, it is sung by the evil Burgermeister and his lackey as they scheme to make sure the children of Sombertown never know toys again. Superman And The Sea Serpent
In 1986, comic creators John Byrne and Marv Wolfman collaborated on a wholesale revision of Superman, re-origining the character in many ways. In his intro comic, Byrne mentioned how going forward, the stories could no longer feature such random scenes as the one he cited. In a 60's story, on his way to do something, Superman was flying over the ocean when he ran into trouble from a sea serpent that he overcame, without the serpent being the focus of the story or related to the enemy he was fighting. It just showed up, was there, gave him trouble, then went away.

But except where the grammar is dead wrong, overly vague or just plain written awkwardly, from now on, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. I'm a decent grammarian, and if humble, I can say I've done 50% of the heavy lifting on this Wiki, and if I feel like boasting, maybe 80%. Where I am wrong, I am wrong. How to censor Elfen Lied (Forgive Me)
First off, this is not me advocating that the series be censored, if it made it to a new anime or Live Action piece. It is raw, and ideally it should stay that way, with nothing cut -- exxxcept maybe Nyu molesting poor Nozomi. Feel free to let that one go. Here's what I have to say.
- Body wraps/body sults for the Diclonius at the Institute. Lucy's nude escape shows her power and that our concerns are not hers--she's not the one who's vulnerable. Mariko and Nana are little girls, especially if you consider doubled aging. Do we need to see their bodies--or Number 3's? The inhumanity to these girls is still shown by a dull grey body coating that may as well be prison garb.
