  • I hear you wrote a crossover fan fiction between Elfen Lied and Dragon Ball Z (two of my favorite animes) I was wondering if you could send me a link to it if that'd be okay with you.

    • A small update on the rewrite, I'm up to chapter 11, which will be finished by This weekend, most likely.

  • Hi GohanLSSJ2,

I'm contacting you as you are the most recently active admin.

I just posted a blog post about Volunteer Curators here on Elfen Lied Wiki and I'm wondering if it'd be ok with you and the rest of the admin team if I posted a community message about it (like a site-wide message, but just for this wiki). We're hoping to attract anime news fanatics to help round out our anime coverage on Fandom.com .

    Thanks!

    • We do essays on character journeys, the great battles of the series, pivotal moments within it, differences between the manga and anime versions, and more. Just let us know if any meet your needs, and consider notice given as permission. Thanks!

    • Indeed. It's an honor.

  • This one occurred to me for her:

"Well, I won't back down. No, I won't back down. You can stand me up at the gates of Hell. But I won't back down." - Tom Petty, I Won't Back Down

    • Since I liked both... I decided to sorta cheat and have it both ways.

Though the one at the end is the definitive quote, as it was a line that in my opinion, echoes the struggle of those who refuse to give up even under impossible odds.

    • I only corrected the source on the quote - Hey Jude was written by McCartney, not Lennon, although it was written for John's son Julian, to comfort him on the occasion of his parents' divorce. The original working title was 'Hey Jules'. Also, McCartney has claimed that 'Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds' was not an LSD song, but was based on a drawing Julian did of a classmate named Lucy.

  • Effort appreciated, but I deliberately placed some odd navboxes in certain articles to increase casual user awareness that they exist.

Biggest reason being that she's the love rival of Lucy/Nyu and as other shows show that the love rival will always attract a lot of hate from viewers because they feel that the main heroine deserves the main hero, Kazumi from Shakugan no Shana is another prime example of a character getting a lot o hate because she's the love rival.
Indeed, that's perhaps the biggest factor.
Which is a shame as Yuka is really a wonderfull character, she's smart, she's caring, and also a very attractive young woman.
      Oh, indeed!

I love her character, too. Definitely on my top 5.

Her haters annoy me to know end, and the same for other shipping-related haters like with, as you mentioned, Kazumi from Shana or Yuuno from Nanoha.

What annoys me the most to the point of almost being disgusted with the fandom is that all of these haters only say "Ah but she's with him while her should be it."  They hate the character solely because that character is a real love rival to the main heroine who gets carried around by the fans, quite often this heroine is not such a good character, of course the moment ou mention that the legion of fanboys all of a sudden start frothing at the mouth.

  • This is gonna be one hell of a battle

    • It might start like this :

From her dark thoughts to reality the murder traveled like lightning.

The Director saw sweet wonderful hopeless Kisaragi executed gruesomely, her headless body then used as a writhing shield against gunfire by Lucy.

"Lucy! I will not forgive you!"

The Diclonius was less than impressed.

"I warned you---warned you what would follow, after you killed my friend."

The Director walked up, and to everyone's shock, slapped Lucy across the face.

"Lucy, this is your last warning! I know what your wrath is like--don't risk mine!"

Project Director Robert Bruce Banner glared.

"You wouldn't like me when I'm wrathful."
