While mangaka Lynn Okamoto is primarily known for creating the Elfen Lied manga series, this is only one of many works he has created. Listed here are works by this creator that fall outside of anything related to Elfen Lied, its situations and universe of characters.

Many of these stories are unknown or only vaguely known outside of Japan. Any user who has knowledge of these stories is encouraged to create an article based on them.

Flip Flap

Flip Flap is a collection of short stories and one-off pieces, many of which were once special chapters in the Elfen Lied manga compilations, yet were separate from the story of Lucy and her associated characters.

The stories are:

  • Flip Flap
  • Lime Yellow
  • Allumage (French: "Ignition") (first appeared in "Weekly Young Jump" No.32, 2006.)
  • Registrar (Spanish: "Register") (first appeared in "Weekly Young Jump - Extra Edition - Mantarou" issued on May 20, 2006.)
  • Carriera (Italian: "Career") (first appeared in "Weekly Young Jump - Extra Edition - Job Spirit" issued on Nov. 5, 2005)
  • Digitopolis (first appeared in "Separate Volume Young Jump" [or "Bessatsu Young Jump"] issued on May 5, 2000.) Also published in Elfen Lied Tankōbon Volume 2

Flip Flap (re-release)

A newer edition of Flip Flap was issued on July 18, 2014. "Flip Flap" and "Lime Yellow" are absent in this version, and in their place is a new story: "Kimi To Koukan" ("Exchange With You"). Unlike the previous Flip Flap, this version has only one volume, whereas the previous edition had two. Fewer copies of the previous version are in print.

The new edition includes:

  • Exchange With You - A short story believed to be the prototype of Brynhildr in the Darkness. (first appeared in "Weekly Young Jump" No. 8, 2011.)
  • Allumage
  • Registrar
  • Carriera
  • Memoria
  • MOL
  • Digitopolis
  • Elfen Lied - An entirely separate story from Elfen Lied, as noted above.
